A LITTLE CHARACTER FOR THE TABLE

Different voices.
One plan.

Afterglow works best when everyone can see the same problem. The characters suggest table roles, not hidden information or exclusive abilities.

01
The lantern keeper

Noor

Noor counts what the next two turns will cost. Her useful question is whether a clever move now leaves enough light for somebody else.

02
The shore watcher

Edie

Edie follows the weather and reminds the table which beacon colour is missing. She turns a scattered conversation into a clear next step.

03
The late caster

Cal

Cal takes the cast nobody wanted to plan. A spare light and an open dock can make his quiet turn the one that finishes the night.

WHY THIS EDITION EXISTS

Afterglow Anglers

Afterglow Anglers reimagines the Big Bass Bonanza fishing mood as a small cooperative board-game concept. There is no race for the biggest private score. The crew shares a lantern supply and a single challenge: light three beacons within eight team turns.

Eight dock tiles, up to four boats, three beacon cards, a light marker, a turn marker, catch counters and a small weather deck make the proposed kit. The browser exercise uses only the light budget, so the physical rules remain easy to read separately.
